org We are currently looking for someone to supervise our after school program which takes place at the Pound Ridge Elementary school.
You will help us continue to offer a warm, welcoming environment, in which children can learn, grow, and play.
Job Requirements:
Directly supervises School Age Program Assistants.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include; planning, assigning, and directing work and activities; recognizing employees for a job well done and giving direct feedback in a professional manner to staff when needed.
- Assist with and implementing daily activities, which could include:
group games, arts & crafts activities, reading, homework help, and other activities - Build relationships with children and families - Participate in and attend team meetings and additional trainings as needed - Have FUN!!
Qualifications:
Experience working with school age children.
Experience preferred includes camps, afterschool programs, group settings.
1-2 years of experience supervising others.
Experience supervising teenagers, a plus! - loves working with children - Good communication skills with staff and children - Willing to take initiative, hard-working, responsible - Pass clearance requirements Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$16.
00 - $20.
00 per hour Schedule:
